Two men were killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a large gathering in southeast Fort Worth early Sunday, police said.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth police officers responded to the shooting about 3:30 a.m. at a home in the 4300 block of Martin Street, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they learned that a fight broke out between a man and a woman who knew each other at the gathering, police said. Another man intervened in the altercation.<\/p>\n

The two men began fighting and both pulled out handguns and opened fire, police said. Four men were shot during the gunfire.<\/p>\n

The man who intervened and one of the other men were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.<\/p>\n

The other involved shooter and another man were taken to area hospitals with gunshot wounds, police said. Their conditions were unknown.<\/p>\n

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office identified<\/a> one man as 24-year-old Jose Alejandro Valladolid. The identity of the second man who died has not been released publicly.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Worth police at 817-392-4222<\/a> or submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n
