The event, usually held in Austin, moved to Fort Worth this year and drew about 100 institutional investors, company leaders, sports executives, academics, and other influential people. Attendees watched bull rides, got fitted for custom-made cowboy hats, and joined discussions on finance and technology. Founder Daniel Dart said the goal was to build camaraderie and keep the atmosphere unpretentious, while also highlighting Fort Worth’s Western culture. Speakers and guests included Greg Lippmann, Oleg Nodelman, Robert Forsythe, John Moncrief, Chad Rigetti, and Chad Blankenship. Blankenship discussed the origins of Professional Bull Riders, saying 20 cowboys each invested $1,000 in the company in 1992. Dart said the event was inspired by community and by a national push toward manufacturing and industries within the U.S., with Fort Worth capturing that spirit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fort Worth hosted Rock Yard Roundup, a cowboy-themed conference that brought investors and CEOs together for its third…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":445329,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[10],"tags":[153696,153695,153694,2261,116,118,117],"class_list":["post-445328","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-fort-worth","tag-blankenship","tag-chad-blankenship","tag-chad-rigetti","tag-dart","tag-fort-worth","tag-fort-worth-headlines","tag-fort-worth-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/445328","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=445328"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/445328\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/445329"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=445328"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=445328"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=445328"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
