<\/p>\nPower Electronics plans two buildings totaling 850,000 square feet for manufacturing, logistics, research and office operations.<\/p>\n
HOUSTON \u2014 Power Electronics has scheduled a Sept. 24 ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction on the new facility at 9220 Fairbanks North Houston Road in northwest Houston.<\/p>\n
The campus will include two buildings. One 150,000-square-foot building will house offices, research and development, and electronics manufacturing space. The 700,000-square-foot building will house manufacturing and logistics operations.<\/p>\n

The new campus is expected to reach 35 gigawatts of annual production capacity and create over 400 new jobs in the Houston area, the company said.<\/p>\n Additionally, Power Electronics said the Houston campus will expand its domestic production capacity, bring manufacturing and technical capabilities closer to its U.S. customers, strengthen supply chains, and increase its U.S.-based research, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.<\/p>\n The company noted that the Houston campus marks its largest investment in inverter manufacturing capacity in the United States.<\/p>\n Continue reading this story<\/a> on the Houston Business Journal’s website. \u00a0<\/p>\n
