SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A San Antonio woman accused of buying ammunition, magazines and tactical gear<\/a> for her son, who had expressed a desire to carry out \u201cmass acts of violence\u201d at a SAISD school last year, has had her charge dismissed, Bexar County court records show.<\/p>\n

Ashley Pardo, 34, was originally arrested on charges of aiding in the commission of terrorism in May 2025, according to court records.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, she allegedly bought the items \u201cwith knowledge\u201d that they would be \u201cused to plan and carry out\u201d a crime.<\/p>\n

Now, court records show her charge was dropped due to \u201cinsufficient evidence.\u201d <\/p>\n

Although she\u2019s no longer accused in that incident, Pardo still faces a separate, unrelated charge of abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence<\/a>, according to records.<\/p>\n

Pardo, who was arrested in August 2025, allegedly pointed a shotgun at the head of an infant, who at the time was estimated to be 11 months old, according to an affidavit.<\/p>\n

The warrant said Pardo allegedly took a photo of the gesture and sent it to the infant\u2019s biological father, telling him that the infant was being a \u201cbrat.\u201d <\/p>\n

According to records, Pardo has not been indicted for the incident.<\/p>\n

KSAT has reached out to the Bexar County District Attorney\u2019s Office for more clarification on why Pardo\u2019s charge was dismissed.<\/p>\n
