Chas Kitchen, located at 1431 North Pine, received an 88 on its Sept. 8 inspection. <\/a><\/p>\n KSAT<\/a> visited the restaurant this week and spoke with a manager about the 7 violations listed in the report<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe already fixed everything and don\u2019t have any problems right now,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n Metro Health told KSAT the kitchen was closed for three days because of the pest issue. The report said there were live roaches in the kitchen. <\/p>\n The report also noted a bottle labeled \u201croach medicine\u201d inside the restaurant. \u201cWe\u2019ve changed everything here,\u201d the man said. \u201cSorry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n The inspector also noted that the temperature of sausage, shredded cheese, and refried beans were in the 60s while in a walk in cooler for more than four hours. The report said food stored in the walk-in cooler needs to be at or below 41 degrees. <\/p>\n Umiya Sushi<\/p>\n KSAT also visited the new Umiya Sushi on 911 North Hunt Lane. <\/p>\n The restaurant received a 78 during a Sept. 11 inspection<\/a>, records show. <\/p>\n The report cited several violations, including unheated tempuras and a fly issue.
