HOUSTON \u2013 Houston police are asking for the public\u2019s help identifying a suspect accused of robbing a man in east Houston.<\/p>\n

The robbery happened around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, near a business on Sultan Drive. <\/p>\n

Police say the victim was sitting in his parked vehicle when a man approached, reached inside with a bag covering his hand and acted as though he had a firearm.<\/p>\n

The suspect demanded the victim\u2019s money then took off with it. <\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston directly at 713-222-TIPS (8477), submit a tip at crime-stoppers.org or use the Crime Stoppers mobile app. Tips leading to a felony charge or arrest could result in a cash payment of up to $5,000.<\/p>\n
