The game is airing on KCBD.com and the Streaming App. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Westerners were off last week but posted a 37-13 win over San Angelo Lake View in the week prior. Lubbock High head football coach Juan Rodriguez says his team is approaching this evening\u2019s game intending to \u201cshock the world\u201d. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI think just to have the opportunity to go out there and do what we love to do and to be in a situation where we feel confident that we\u2019re playing really good ball, we\u2019re starting to put things together. It would definitely mean the world to us, but I know that it would mean a lot more to just everyone around our community and so forth,\u201d he said. \u201cSo we\u2019re just looking forward to hopefully again coming out healthy tomorrow night, playing a great ball club, and hopefully get a chance to see the scores being on our favor.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Eagles won their \u201cCrosstown Showdown\u201d over their in-city rivals Abilene Cooper 14-6, but have lost to San Angelo Central and Odessa Permian. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The contest kicks off 7 p.m. at Plains Capital Park. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
