MS NOW is back in the White House<\/a> \u2014 and headed back to Texas, where its marquee Senate race is giving Rachel\u00a0Maddow, Jen Psaki, Lawrence O\u2019Donnell and other hosts plenty to talk about.<\/p>\n The network formerly known as\u00a0MSNBC that is popular among Democrats will hold its third annual\u00a0fan gathering Saturday<\/a> at the University of Texas at Arlington\u2019s College Park Center. It\u2019s the event\u2019s first time outside the New York area.<\/p>\n \u201cTexas is at the center of the political conversation this year,\u201d Psaki, former White House<\/a> press secretary under President Joe Biden, told The Dallas Morning News.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n The all-day live community affair comes after President Donald Trump barred<\/a> MS NOW, CNN and Politico from the White House over coverage he disliked. A judge temporarily lifted the ban Thursday, allowing reporters from all three outlets to return.<\/p>\n Related: MS NOW debuts members lounge in Dallas as GOP convention marches on: ‘Texas is a microcosm’<\/a><\/p>\n Psaki said the press\u2019 fight over access underscored the importance of the network\u2019s reporting and its commitment to continue \u201cno matter how people try to push back on our efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n Lauren Peikoff, executive producer of MS NOW Live, said the network\u2019s goal \u201cwill always be reporting without fear or favor.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis week has proven that,\u201d she said. \u201cWe continue to cover and report the news, no matter the circumstance.\u201d<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n MS NOW: Together in Texas will seek to bring audiences into the conversation on national debates over voting rights, immigration, education and the economy, with Texas at the center of the discussion on Saturday.<\/p>\n Everything is bigger in Texas, Peikoff said \u2014 \u201cincluding the conversations shaping our collective futures.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n From left to right, Symone Sanders, Michael Steel and Luke Russert, co-hosts of MS NOW show The Weeknight.<\/p>\n Timothy Hiatt\/Courtesy of MS NOW<\/p>\n Just two weeks ago, Trump headlined a convention-style rally in Dallas that featured Republican candidates and sought to fire up voters ahead of the midterm election.<\/p>\n Peikoff said MS NOW is looking for reporters and anchors to \u201chighlight the power of democracy and community\u201d through in-person, two-way conversation with the Texas audience \u2014 discussions that will inform programming after the event, she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Psaki said she is \u201cenergized about being in the middle of a community that is living one of the most interesting political stories of this year.\u201d<\/p>\n MS NOW\u2019s gathering in Arlington gets close to the home of \u201cone of the most hotly contested Senate races of this election season,\u201d according to an announcement by the network.<\/p>\n Democratic state Rep.
