There is a complex weather setup ahead with a cold front forecast to sweep across the state mid-week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">This front could pull in leftover moisture from what is now Hurricane Polo in the Pacific and could lead to heavy rain at times.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Rain chances appear to make a big jump by Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/img_4582.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  2 tropical storms in the Atlantic <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Tropical depression Fay continues to spin in the middle of the Atlantic. It is expected to gradually weaken as it slowly drifts west and there is no threat to land.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/img_4583.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Tropical Storm Gonzalo will also be short-lived as it will run into lots of wind shear.
