They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Lake Highlands Wildcats<\/a>. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups in a row.<\/p>\n Plano East took Lake Highlands into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-13, 25-22, 23-25, 15-12.<\/p>\n Leading Plano East to victory were Dakota Huynh<\/a> and Addison Tucker<\/a>. Huynh had 34 digs and seven assists, while Tucker had 13 digs and two assists. That’s the most assists Tucker has posted since back in September.<\/p>\n Lake Highlands’ loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carrigan Anderly<\/a>, who had 34 assists and 19 digs. Anderly is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she’s now posted 14 or more in each of the last 16 games she’s played. Brylie Woodbury<\/a> was another key player, getting 25 digs and three assists.<\/p>\n Plano East’s victory bumped their record up to 30-10. As for Lake Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-9.<\/p>\n Plano East didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Eastlake on the 7th. Lake Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.<\/p>\n
