One person died after a vehicle traveling north on Dallas Parkway crashed into a car going west on West Plano Parkway, officials said. <\/p>\n
PLANO, Texas \u2014 One person died overnight after a vehicle allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a car on West Plano Parkway, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Plano police responded around 2 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of West Plano Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway access road, Plano police said in a press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When police arrived, they found an unconscious 27-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not immediately identify the man.<\/p>\n
Witnesses at the scene told police a Toyota Camry traveling north on the Dallas North Tollway access road ran a red light and crashed into a Dodge Dart traveling west on Plano Parkway, the release states. The Camry then hit a traffic signal pole, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old woman driving the Dart was uninjured, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
