\n\tIn fan-shot clips<\/a> from the show, both artists appeared dressed in black, with Drake taking the mic on \u201cOne Dance\u201d as Karol G danced beside him before the two moved in close, drawing roars from the crowd. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe appearance was the latest in a series of moments between the two stars. Drake attended Karol G\u2019s Toronto show in July<\/a>, appearing on the venue\u2019s Jumbotron, and had publicly nodded to her on record before their team-up, name-checking her on \u201cNew Bestie\u201d from his 2026 project Maid of Honour. The pair then released \u201cAh\u00ed\u201d<\/a> in August, and the single made an immediate mark on Billboard\u2019s Latin charts. It debuted at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs \u2014 Drake\u2019s fourth leader on the tally \u2014 and gave him his first career No. 1 on Hot Latin Rhythm Songs, a chart he had never previously topped. <\/p>\n

\n\tReleased in 2016, \u201cOne Dance\u201d was a career milestone for Drake. Featuring Nigerian star Wizkid and British singer Kyla, it became his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 as a lead artist, spent 10 weeks atop the chart and reigned for years as the most-streamed song in Spotify history. It has since become a staple of his unannounced guest spots, including a surprise set at Vybz Kartel\u2019s Toronto concert last year, where he also performed it.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor Karol G, the moment adds to a genre-reshaping run. The Medell\u00edn-born star became the first Latina to headline Coachella earlier this year, and her 2023 album Ma\u00f1ana Ser\u00e1 Bonito<\/a> made history as the first all-Spanish-language album by a woman to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. <\/p>\n

\n\tHer 2025 album Tropicoqueta<\/a> debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and she announced her latest album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto<\/a>, in July, extending a run that has established her as the most commercially dominant woman in Latin music.<\/p>\n
