Woman walks away uninjured after car misses curve around 12:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

SPRING, Texas \u2013 A woman escaped without injury early this morning after her car veered off the road and into a retention pond in Spring.<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 22300 block of Northcrest Drive. Authorities say the woman was driving to work when she missed a curve and drove into the water.<\/p>\n

Harris County Precinct 4 officers, firefighters and a wrecker operator worked together to secure the vehicle and pull it from the pond \u2014 with the woman still inside. She was unharmed.<\/p>\n

Investigators have not determined whether speed or distraction contributed to the crash.<\/p>\n
