W. in north Harris County, HCSO says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao MvWXB TjIXL aGjvy ebVHC \">HARRIS COUNTY, Texas  (KTRK) &#8212; A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death at a motel in north Harris County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to HCSO, deputies responded just before 12 p.m. to a report of a man being found shot at a motel on 13611 Rankin Cir. W.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators say that the man was transported by a witness in a private vehicle to a hospital. According to investigators, EMS flagged down the vehicle about a block away from the scene. Officials added that EMS took the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to the sheriff&#8217;s office, there was some sort of fight between the man and the suspected shooter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators detained several people at the scene as witnesses. So far, nobody is a suspect. Investigators executed a search warrant on the motel room around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators are hoping to locate a weapon and additional evidence.
