According to the Austin Energy outage map, as of nearly 2 p.m. on Thursday, 12 active outages are affecting 404\u00a0customers in Austin.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The largest outage underway currently is in the Great Hills area of Northwest Austin with approximately 115 customers affected. Austin Energy crews are working to resolve the outages, with an estimated restoration time around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n
Among those impacted include some local businesses, with the Emergency Animal Hospital of Crystal Falls\u00a0confirming<\/a> they were experiencing a power outage alongside Central Texas College’s main campus.<\/a> Crews have either confirmed, dispatched or are actively working at those sites to restore service.<\/p>\n The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts another round of strong storms on Tuesday, so outages may occur through the day and into the night.
