Additionally, a flood watch is in effect until Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Over 200 flights scheduled to leave Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flightaware.com\/live\/cancelled\/today\/DFW\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">have been delayed<\/a>, according to FlightAware, and more than 80 have been canceled as of 9 a.m. More than 65 flights had been delayed out of Dallas Love Field with nearly 10 cancellations.<\/p>\n<p>More than 6,800 Tarrant County residents and 2,600 Dallas County residents were reported to be <a href=\"https:\/\/stormcenter.oncor.com\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">without power<\/a> as of 9:50 a.m., according to electric service provider Oncor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur teams will respond quickly to any power outages as soon as it is safe to do so,\u201d Oncor officials said on their website. \u201cFlooding in some areas may cause delays and access challenges for field resources. We encourage customers to stay weather aware and keep safety first.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of 9:50 a.m., Fort Worth police were responding to at least seven water emergency calls in the area, according to the agency\u2019s 911 call portal. People reported being stuck in their vehicles in high water.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas Department of Transportation reported that I-30 westbound was closed at Chapel Creek due to high water.<\/p>\n<p>Officials remind people not to drive through water if the depth is unknown.
