The road is one of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressnews.com\/news\/article\/san-antonio-flood-crossings-water-rescue-22264945.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">most dangerous low-water\u00a0crossings<\/a> identified by the San Antonio Fire Department.<\/p>\n<p>The Interstate 35 frontage road at Cassin Road is closed due flooding from Leon Creek on the Southwest Side.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bexarflood.org\/#!\/main\/map\/2172\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bexar County flood-monitoring map<\/a> tracks road conditions in real time, including closures and rising water at monitored low-water crossings. The system uses sensors to detect rising water and can alert drivers when a road becomes dangerous.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before traveling, drivers should check conditions and avoid trying to cross any road covered by floodwaters.
