New storms are expected to develop overnight into Friday morning, according to KSAT\u2019s Weather Authority.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">&gt;&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/weather\/\">Click here for the latest forecast<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">KSAT crews called 911 as the man, whose name is Enrique, climbed out of his driver\u2019s side window onto the top of his Chevy Silverado. KSAT cameras captured Enrique climbing down and jumping into the water, which reached up to his waist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Enrique lost his balance and was briefly pulled downstream by the fast-moving current before first responders arrived and pulled him out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">\u201cWell, once I got to that point, I didn\u2019t know it was that deep,\u201d Enrique told KSAT moments after being rescued. \u201cI thought I was going to get through it, and then it stopped.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Enrique said he was driving home and lived nearby, but he had driven around barricades when he became stuck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Firefighters worked Thursday night to get to Enrique\u2019s truck. SAFD said they had not received any other high-water rescue calls in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Authorities urge people to never drive or walk into floodwaters.
