{"id":454297,"date":"2026-10-02T13:42:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T13:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/454297\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T13:42:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T13:42:08","slug":"northwest-dallas-nightclub-damaged-in-early-morning-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/454297\/","title":{"rendered":"Northwest Dallas nightclub damaged in early-morning fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A northwest Dallas nightclub was heavily damaged Friday in an early-morning\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/public-safety\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fire<\/a>\u00a0that forced firefighters to retreat and battle the blaze from outside, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/public-health\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Firefighters<\/a> were dispatched about 3:02 a.m. to DG\u2019s Night Club, located at 2117\u00a0W. Northwest Highway, and arrived to find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fire\/?utm_source=paid_marketing&amp;utm_medium=google_dsa&amp;utm_campaign=content_acquisition&amp;gad_source=1&amp;\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">heavy smoke <\/a>coming from the large, one-story building.<\/p>\n<p>Crews initially entered the nightclub and attacked the fire with hand lines, but firefighters soon discovered flames had spread into concealed spaces throughout the building and were already in an advanced stage, according to a DFR news release.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters were pulled from the building, and a second alarm was called.
