Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/sri.siena.edu\/2026\/09\/17\/hinojosa-now-leads-abbott-by-4-points-talarico-widens-lead-to-6-points\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">public polling<\/a> shows that Hinojosa is leading Greg Abbott by 4 points \u2013 the first time Abbott has been down in a gubernatorial poll \u2013 and winning Latino voters by 33 points, up from an earlier 27-point lead.
