Glasgow Drive in Dallas.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Responding firefighters confirmed the odor inside a classroom at the school. The school evacuated all students and staff as a precaution.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Gas was shut off to the room where the odor was detected, and Atmos Energy was notified of the incident.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">At 4:10 p.m., DFR hazmat units determined there was no gas leak, and cleared the building for students and staff to be let back in to finish the day.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">DFR says the odor was coming from a chemistry lab in the school, and believe that someone may have left a valve on in the room that caused the odor.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1791056173_767_sky-4-355pm-2026_10_02-kdfweme003_15_56_07_mpg_00.29.24.04.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">This is a breaking news story.
