New information from a Dallas hospitality and investment group provided an update on two restaurant concepts planned for the space.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dallas-based Vandelay Companies is developing two restaurant concepts for the vacant Nix space in Alamo Heights \u2014 Hudson House and Jack &amp; Harry&#8217;s. Previously, the restaurants were identified by generic placeholders in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/realestate\/article\/oil-tycoon-broadway-san-antonio-21243385.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">renderings from Ridgemont Properties<\/a>, the group involved in the building&#8217;s redevelopment. Vandelay Companies acknowledged the two incoming restaurants in its <a href=\"https:\/\/vandelaycompanies.com\/portfolio\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">digital hospitality portfolio<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A recent construction filing for Hudson House appeared on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2027001391\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation<\/a> website, noting that an interior remodel will proceed from November 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. The remodel is estimated to cost $1,675,250 and will span more than 6,500 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson House has a dozen locations of its New York City-style oyster bar across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Jack &amp; Harry&#8217;s, on the other hand, has only one location in Dallas proper.
