The site went down before 11 a.m., during the final hours of voter registration for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/politics\/article\/voters-favor-democrats-on-key-issues-but-lack-22460799.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">November 3<\/a> election.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The county said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BexarCountyTX\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Facebook post<\/a> that its website vendor has resolved the outage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while the issue was being addressed,&#8221; the post reads.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The county elections department had previously said on its website, <a href=\"https:\/\/elections.bexar.gov\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">elections.bexar.gov<\/a>, that it was experiencing an outage and that the vendor was actively working to restore service as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The county has not said what caused the website outage. The election website was down for at least one hour, according to the election department&#8217;s website.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Monday is the final day to register to vote in the November 3 election. Bexar County voters can check their voter registration status and register to vote on the website today.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We understand the inconvenience this may cause, especially as we work to serve our voters during this important time.
