As we look back on 250 years of American exceptionalism, please join the\u00a0Goldwater Institute<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Texas Public Policy Foundation<\/a>\u00a0for a primer and livestream discussion exploring the importance and restoration of civics education, particularly in higher education.<\/p>\n

During the expert-led discussion and in partnership with the\u00a0James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal<\/a>, we will examine the importance of teaching the Declaration of Independence and other foundational documents that shaped our nation. We\u2019ll discuss the role of civics in preparing students to understand America\u2019s founding principles, institutions, and constitutional framework.<\/p>\n
