Authorities said a woman was confronted by the suspect, who was her ex, carried a pistol and took her vehicle and her baby boy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to authorities, SWAT and Precinct 7 deputies responded to the barricade situation at 4 p.m. in the 11800 block of Princess Garden Way, near W. Orem and SH-288.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to the sheriff, the suspect was threatening to kill the child, kill himself, and kill law enforcement during the barricade situation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Hours later, authorities say that the barricade situation ended peacefully with the suspect taken into custody and the infant was unharmed and was taken safely by law enforcement. Additionally, the baby reunited with his mother, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies said that the suspect, 25, has an active robbery warrant out of Harris County and will face additional charges in connection with this standoff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">For the latest breaking news, weather and traffic, ABC13 is now live on Disney+.
