Officers said they found a man in his late 20s to early 30s lying on the ground with a gunshot wound<\/p>\n

A man was found shot to death in a northwest Houston parking lot Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

Houston police said officers responded to a call about a shooting around 12:40 a.m. in the 8000 block of West Tidwell Road.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found a man in his late 20s to early 30s lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

Houston Fire Department medics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Police said the victim had been shot once. Several vehicles in the parking lot were also struck by gunfire.<\/p>\n

At this time, police said there are no known witnesses and investigators have no information about what led up to the shooting. Police have no suspect description and have not recovered a weapon.<\/p>\n

The victim\u2019s identity has not been released pending notification of his family.<\/p>\n

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Houston police.<\/p>\n
