DALLAS (UNLVRebels.com) \u2013\u00a0Behind a pair of under-par rounds by seniors Ryan Abuan<\/a> and Zach Little<\/a>, the UNLV men’s golf team shot a 2-under 286 to remain in the top 3 after Monday’s second round at the Trinity Forest Invitational at Trinity Forest Golf Club (par 72,\u00a07,617 yards).<\/p>\n REBEL ROUNDUP:\u00a0The Rebel leaders positioned themselves in the top 5 heading into the final round, with Abuan using a second-round 5-under 67 to move into second and Little ending the day in a tie for third after his 1-under 71. Abuan slid his tournament score to 8-under 136 and Little lowered his to 7-under 135 through 36 holes.<\/p>\n Following Abuan and Little in the lineup, sophomore Aaron Van Hauwe<\/a> (-2) kept his place in the top 20 in a tie for 16th while senior Mason Snyder<\/a> (+1) holds a tied-for-33rd standing. Junior Mason Haley<\/a> (+6) is tied for 67th and junior Baylor Bostick<\/a> (+9) follows in a tie for 82nd playing as an individual.<\/p>\n DAY-TWO\u00a0LEADERBOARD:\u00a0USC (-24) posted a 14-under 274 as a team to take the day-two lead, while also seeing its own Deitrek Gill (-12) maintain the individual lead. UNLV (-16) stands in third, eight shots out of first and within three shots of East Tennessee in second.
