Southlake Carroll<\/a> had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn’t miss a beat now that it’s playoff time. Everything went their way against the Plano West Wolves<\/a> on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Dragons as they’re now sitting on 11 straight.<\/p>\n

Southlake Carroll found their leader in freshman Collins Alonzo<\/a>, who had 15 digs and two assists. Alonzo has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariel Elizondo<\/a>, who had 15 assists.<\/p>\n

Southlake Carroll’s victory bumped their record up to 32-5. As for Plano West, their loss dropped their record down to 28-6.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Southlake Carroll will square off against Flower Mound at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.<\/p>\n
