A Hebron High School employee turned herself in after arrest warrants were issued on charges of indecency with a child by sexual contact and child grooming, the Carrollton Police Department said. <\/p>\n
Lewisville ISD identified the employee as Gloria Resendiz and said the Carrollton PD informed school officials that the warrants had been issued as part of an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
Resendiz turned herself in to the Carrollton Jail and was transferred to the Denton County Jail. <\/p>\n
According to Lewisville ISD, Resendiz remains on administrative leave from the district and is “strictly prohibited from entering any district facility.”<\/p>\n
The district said it will continue to cooperate with Carrollton police as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
Lewisville ISD said the district does not have additional information about the investigation and directed further questions about the case to the Carrollton Police Department.<\/p>\n
“If you or your student has any information you believe may be important, we want to encourage you to reach out to CPD or a trusted adult at school,” the message to Hebron families said.<\/p>\n
The district also said Hebron High School counselors are available to support students and staff who may need assistance in response to the situation.<\/p>\n
No additional details about the allegations or the circumstances surrounding the investigation were provided by the district.<\/p>\n
