Two candidates are running for Collin County Commissioner Precinct 4 this November.<\/p>\n
Early voting for the Nov. 3<\/a> election runs from Oct. 19-30.<\/p>\n The details<\/p>\n Former Plano Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Democratic candidate Julie Holmer will be running against former Plano City Council Member and Republican candidate Shelby Williams this November. <\/p>\n Holmer resigned from Plano City Council in November 2025 to run for the Precinct 4 position, per previous<\/a> reporting. The council accepted Williams’ resignation at a special meeting in March 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n The winner will replace current Precinct 4 Commissioner Duncan Webb, who has served in the position since 2011<\/a>. The Collin County Commissioner Precinct 4 position represents<\/a> Plano, Allen and some of Carrollton and Dallas.<\/p>\n Community Impact reached out to all candidates who will appear on the Collin County Commissioner Precinct 4 ballot, and candidates are listed in ballot order.<\/p>\n Candidates were asked to keep responses under 50 words, answer the questions provided and avoid attacking opponents.
