{"id":459419,"date":"2026-10-07T20:36:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T20:36:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/459419\/"},"modified":"2026-10-07T20:36:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T20:36:10","slug":"dicks-sporting-goods-plans-first-11-million-store-in-bastrop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/459419\/","title":{"rendered":"Dick&#8217;s Sporting Goods plans first $11 million store in Bastrop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A nationwide sports retailer has set plans for another multimillion dollar store in a growing Central Texas town. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/business\/article\/kyle-texas-new-retail-development-22442142.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Dick&#8217;s Sporting Goods<\/a> will begin work on its first $11 million location in Bastrop, a city about 33 miles\u00a0east\u00a0of Austin.<\/p>\n<p>Bastrop&#8217;s first Dick&#8217;s Sporting Goods will be a 55,000-square-foot newly constructed store, which is the standard size for its regular stores, so it likely won&#8217;t be a House of Sport. Construction on the store is slated to begin on December 1, 2026 and could be completed by December 31, 2027, meaning it may open in the first half of 2028.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, all\u00a0estimated construction dates in TDLRs are subject to change at any time.
