LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock ISD leadership was notified Tuesday by Frontline Education that the company experienced a data security incident on Aug. 14, 2026, that exposed district employee information.<\/p>\n
Frontline said it discovered and remediated the incident on Aug. 15, 2026. The exposed information included employee Social Security numbers, email addresses and physical addresses, according to Frontline.<\/p>\n
Frontline has advised that no Lubbock ISD student information was exposed in the incident. District officials said they will notify families if that changes.<\/p>\n

Lubbock ISD said it is still working to obtain additional details about the incident.<\/p>\n
Steps Frontline is taking<\/p>\n
According to Lubbock ISD, Frontline has outlined the following steps:<\/p>\n
Frontline will contact affected individuals beginning Oct. 26, 2026, to notify them their information was impacted and provide additional information about the data involved.<\/p>\n
Frontline has notified the Texas Attorney General and law enforcement agencies of the incident.<\/p>\n
Frontline is partnering with TransUnion to manage the incident and will offer two years of credit monitoring to individuals affected.<\/p>\n
Frontline has established a hotline at 833-516-8792, available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time, for questions related to the incident.<\/p>\n
Frontline will continue to provide Lubbock ISD with updates regarding the incident and the steps being taken in response.<\/p>\n
