With lower moisture levels, afternoons should feel noticeably more comfortable, with cooler mornings and less of that sticky Gulf Coast feel. Moisture could make a comeback though this weekend into next week.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\"  loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" role=\"presentation\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/CU7PFRVZ4BBRLOWOA3HEHIXMY4.jpg\"\/>Next Three Days (Copyright 2025 by KPRC Click2Houston &#8211; All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Tracking the tropics:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The latest update from the NHC has Hurricane Isaias in the southern Gulf. Models generally pull it away from the Texas coast, so nothing to worry about for now, but we\u2019ll keep our eyes on it. <\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\"  loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" role=\"presentation\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/34OIUMX2KJGIPFSVH6N6J5RMPM.png\"\/>Hurricane Isaias has formed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">So far this hurricane season we\u2019ve had nine tropical storms. We have not had a hurricane in the Atlantic basin. The latest first hurricane to form was Gustav and Humberto, which formed on September 11th. This means our 2026 hurricane season set a record for the latest hurricane to form.
