He was taken to a hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Christopher Foy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/SNQ6664R3FGXPNT2RFV2U3M6YM.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"1225\" \/>Christopher Foy(Austin Police Department)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators said Guevara had been involved in an argument with his girlfriend before a separate disturbance with his roommate, Christopher Foy, over rent money. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police allege Foy shot Guevara and fled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers located Foy a few hours later in the 4600 block of Nuckols Crossing and arrested him on a murder charge, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The investigation is Austin\u2019s 46th homicide case of 2026.
