{"id":460039,"date":"2026-10-08T11:16:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T11:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/460039\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T11:16:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T11:16:10","slug":"62-year-old-motorcyclist-killed-in-crash-on-west-montgomery-road-in-north-houston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/460039\/","title":{"rendered":"62-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on West Montgomery Road in north Houston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">A 62-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday night in north Houston.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The crash happened around 10:58 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 8500 block of West Montgomery Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on West Montgomery Road when a white Toyota Camry made a left turn and collided with the motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the bike. Houston Fire Department crews responded and pronounced the 62-year-old victim dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Police said the man was killed on his birthday, Oct. 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The driver of the Toyota, a 31-year-old, was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">According to investigators, the driver may have been impaired at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Police are still working to determine who was at fault.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Houston police Sgt.
