As a team, UTA shot 49-percent from the floor and 66.7-percent from deep while forcing the Cowgirls into 16 turnovers, blocking six shots and finishing with six steals.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Mavs had three players score in double figures, led by <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/kira-reynolds\/14625\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14625\" target=\"_blank\">Kira Reynolds<\/a>, who notched her second double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/jadyn-atchison\/14626\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14626\" target=\"_blank\">Jadyn Atchison<\/a> added 12 points and <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/mila-reynolds\/14624\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14624\" target=\"_blank\">Mila Reynolds<\/a> chipped in with 11 points.<\/p>\n<p>UTA shared the ball well in Tuesday&#8217;s game, racking up 21 assists on 25 made field goals. <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/alexsyah-goudeau\/14015\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14015\" target=\"_blank\">Alexsyah Goudeau&#8217;s<\/a> four assists paced the Mavericks and <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/nya-threatt\/14018\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14018\" target=\"_blank\">Nya Threatt<\/a> also chipped in with four assists of her own.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Mavs forced 16 Wyoming turnovers, turning those takeaways into 13 points on the offensive end of the floor. <a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/erin-sellers\/14742\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14742\" target=\"_blank\">Erin Sellers&#8217;<\/a> two steals led the way for UTA.<\/p>\n<p>GAME FLOW<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAfter falling behind 2-0, UTA went on an 8-0 run with 7:54 left in the first quarter, culminating in a three from Goudeau, to take an 8-2 lead. The Lady Mavs then lost some of that lead, but still entered the quarter break with a 16-14 advantage. UTA relied on its three-point shooting in the period, knocking down four shots to account for 12 of its 16 points.<\/p>\n<p>Wyoming fought back to tie the game at 23-23 before UTA went on a 5-0 run starting at the 3:56 mark in the second period, highlighted by a three from Threatt, to take a 28-23 lead, a score that would hold until halftime. The Lady Mavs were strong from deep in the period, knocking down two three-point shots to account for six of its 12 points. They knocked down six triples in the first half.<\/p>\n<p>UTA wasted no time building on its lead, going on an 8-0 run, punctuated by a three from\u00a0Atchison, to expand its lead further to 36-23 with 8:12 to go in the third. Before the third period was over, the Lady Mavs added two points to that lead and entered the fourth quarter with a 49-34 edge. UTA knocked down three three-pointers in the quarter to score nine of its 21 total points.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Mavs coasted to the win from there, increasing their margin of victory by outscoring the Cowgirls 15-10 in the fourth quarter. UTA took advantage of five Wyoming turnovers in the quarter, scoring four points off of those takeaways.<\/p>\n<p>GAME NOTES<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/kira-reynolds\/14625\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14625\" target=\"_blank\">Kira Reynolds<\/a> notched her second career double-double with 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Lady Mavs were incredible from long range, knocking down 10 of 15 three point attempts, the most in a game since March of 2024 (11 at CBU).&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Lady Mavs held the Cowgirls to only 33.3 percent shooting from the field, their lowest of the season.&#13;<br \/>\n\tUTA never trailed after taking a 16-14 first quarter lead.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Lady Mavs shared the rock well, recording an assist on 84 percent of made field goals.&#13;<br \/>\n\tUTA had a stellar day defensively, holding Wyoming to 15-percent from three point land on 13 attempts, their lowest percentage through three games.&#13;<br \/>\n\tUTA held Wyoming to a season low 44 points.&#13;<br \/>\n\tUTA had a 33-31 edge on the boards in the win.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe 64 points the Lady Mavs scored is the most given up by Wyoming this season.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Lady Mavs were active in affecting shots on the defensive end, recording six blocks as a team.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/utamavs.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/kira-reynolds\/14625\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"14625\" target=\"_blank\">Kira Reynolds<\/a> led the defensive charge with a game-high five blocks.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Lady Mavs scored 16 fast break points while limiting the Cowgirls to just four.&#13;<br \/>\n\tAtchison and Threatt were a perfect 2-for-2 from deep.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nNEXT UP<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Lady Mavs return to action this Friday, Nov. 14, when they close out their three-game homestand with Tennessee State for homecoming.
