The newly opened shop serves wine, sells used books and hosts various events for local bookworms.<\/p>\n<p>                Ella Gonzales<\/p>\n<p>            egonzales@star-telegram.com<\/p>\n<p>A new cozy bookstore has opened in Blue Bonnet Circle with a tipsy twist.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61594064065919\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bluebonnet Books and Wine<\/a> opened in early September from owner Dana St. Germain and her husband, Robert Costas. Ella Gonzales                                                                            egonzales@star-telegram.com                                                                                        <\/p>\n<p>In addition to books of all genres, the shop plans to eventually serve wine and beer on tap once St. Germain attains the alcohol license. For now, Costas is handing out free glasses of wine as the coined store \u201csommelier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>St. Germain told the Star-Telegram her mother was a middle school librarian and books have always given her the answer to everything she needs to know. She resigned from her corporate job to open the bookshop, which she said will also allow her to be more present with her daughter and son.<\/p>\n<p>Since opening, she said she\u2019s met more neighbors than ever who also live in the Bluebonnet\/TCU area. She said the club has kind of turned into an apprenticeship as the students help her with storekeeping and other chores.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursdays at 10 a.m., toddlers can join Ms. Sue for story time and crafts. Details are posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bluebonnetbookshop\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bluebonnet Books and Wine social media pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Saturdays are for sourdough, as customers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdYzu2eOGxb\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;stkn=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">can place sourdough orders<\/a> through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/smallkitchensourdough\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Small Kitchen Sourdough<\/a> to pick up (on Saturdays) at Bluebonnet Books and Wine.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, St. Germain is running a program called \u201cthis book made me think of you,\u201d where bookworms can curate a monthly package of books for someone special.
