COLLIN COUNTY \u2013 A 28-year-old Fate man was killed Thursday evening in a head-on collision on Farm-to-Market Road 1138 in Collin County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.<\/p>\n
Christian Samuel Lamoore Dean was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. A preliminary investigation indicates Dean was driving a 2025 Hyundai Elantra southbound on FM 1138 when his vehicle crossed onto the wrong side of the road and struck a northbound 2016 Toyota Tacoma head-on near Crowell Lane.<\/p>\n
The Toyota’s driver, Adrian Mateos Aguilar, 23, of Dallas, was transported to a local medical facility with suspected serious injuries.<\/p>\n
The Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
