The\u00a0Bexar County Sheriff\u2019s Office is searching for a suspect after a shooting outside Leaf Hookah Lounge in Northeast San Antonio left one man dead and another wounded early Saturday.<\/p>\n
Just before 6 a.m., two men broke away from a group outside the lounge in the 6200 block of Binz Engleman Road and began shooting, Sheriff Javier Salazar said at a news conference.<\/p>\n
A 33-year-old man was found dead. A 37-year-old man was found in a nearby car with two gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital and was awake and talking by the time of the news conference. The sheriff\u2019s office has not released either man\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n
The suspect left on foot and was last seen wearing white pants, a white shirt, a black belt and a white bucket hat. Officials believe he may have had dreadlocks. Anyone who sees him should call 911 and avoid approaching him.<\/p>\n
Video showed the man who died holding a gun before his death, but officials have not determined whether he fired any shots. No guns were found at the scene. A gun was later found in a backyard about 1\u00bd miles away, in the direction the suspect walked. The sheriff\u2019s office has not confirmed whether it was connected to the shooting.<\/p>\n
Six people who were gathered at the scene were detained. One of them\u00a0livestreamed the victim as he was dying, Salazar said.<\/p>\n
Salazar said he may pursue legal action against Leaf Hookah Lounge, where he said several shootings have occurred.<\/p>\n
