LAS CRUCES, N.M.\u00a0\u2013 UT Arlington women’s golf returns to action for its third tournament of the fall season, gearing up for the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State. The three-day tournament begins Monday, Oct. 12, and concludes Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
\nThe Mavericks are coming off a 10th-place finish at the Red Raider Invitational in Lubbock, Texas, where they shot a 71-over-par 935. Nirjara Gulhane<\/a> led UTA individually, finishing tied for 37th at 15-over 231, while Chloe De Verner<\/a> followed in a tie for 46th at 17-over 233.
\nUTA makes one change to its lineup from the Red Raider Invitational, with Kylie Ruston<\/a> returning to the five-player group in place of Raeley Hickman<\/a>. Ruston last competed for the Mavericks at the Lady Clerico in September.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Odessa College transfer earned NJCAA First Team All-America honors as a freshman and helped the Wranglers claim the 2025 NJCAA Division I Women’s Golf National Championship. <\/p>\n

Kylie Ruston<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tReturns to the Mavericks’ lineup after competing at the Lady Clerico to open the fall season.
\n\tThe junior joined UTA after spending time at North Idaho College and Tyler Junior College.
\n\tCompeted in 25 rounds across 11 tournaments during the 2025-26 season at Tyler Junior College, recording five top-10 finishes.
\n\tHer best finishes came at the Texarkana Invitational and NCTC Spring Invitational, where she placed fourth individually. <\/p>\n

Carmen Gonzalez Lo-A-Njoe<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tFinished 54th at the Red Raider Invitational with a 21-over 237.
\n\tRecorded three consecutive rounds of 7-over 79 in Lubbock.
\n\tPreviously finished tied for 10th at the Lady Clerico, where she shot a career-low even-par 72 in the opening round. <\/p>\n

Camilah Porras<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tFinished 58th at the Red Raider Invitational with a 28-over 244.
\n\tClosed the tournament with a 6-over 78 in the final round.
\n\tLed the Mavericks in their season opener at the Lady Clerico, tying for sixth individually with a 10-over 226 in her UTA debut. <\/p>\n
