Those changes include a chance for severe storms, heavy rainfall and our first \u2018fall feeling\u2019 cold front.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">We can enjoy tomorrow with another nice, breezy day and afternoon temperatures well above the normal for October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tuesday will continue to be warm and breezy with a chance for thunderstorms, some severe, for the South Plains by evening and extending overnight into Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Weather 10\/11\/26\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/HSSYOOXTMZH3VBKJ7ZKZQAUCHA.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"550\" \/>Weather 10\/11\/26(John Robison | KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In addition to the potential for hail and high winds with severe storms there will be a threat for some localized flooding.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Weather 10\/11\/26\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/GFRXWZ6CFFBC3AFEVSR6CDM4CQ.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Weather 10\/11\/26(John Robison | KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The next change will be cooler temperatures by Wednesday and much colder temperatures arriving by Friday and extending into the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">How cold, I expect daytime highs to dip to the 70s with the rain chances through most of the week.
