The sprawling Texas estate where boxing legend George Foreman spent the final decades of his life has hit the market for $6 million—offering a rare glimpse inside the private world of the heavyweight champion.

Located in Huffman, TX, the 13.49-acre property is anchored by an 11,968-square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion. It comes with an enormous climate-controlled garage designed to accommodate more than 50 vehicles.

But the estate is more than just an impressive piece of real estate. It also served as the backdrop to some of Foreman’s most memorable moments, including the filming of commercials for his famous George Foreman Grill.

The Houston-area property is being marketed by Evan Compean, founder of the Compean Group, nearly 19 months after the two-time heavyweight champion died in March 2025 at age 76.

Built in 2001, the single-story mansion sits behind a gated entrance and was designed to offer Foreman and his family both privacy and ample room to accommodate their interests.

The sprawling home features two kitchens, a sun-drenched atrium, a library, two private offices, and a large fitness room—reflecting the athlete’s life both inside and outside the boxing ring.

According to the property listing, the residence features imported marble, hardwood flooring, intricate millwork, architectural columns, and three fireplaces.

At the heart of the home is an expansive steel-framed atrium, which floods the interiors with natural light and creates a dramatic gathering space.

The residence is divided into two distinct wings, allowing for separate living spaces within the nearly 12,000-square-foot property.

One portion of the home was dedicated to Foreman’s personal quarters, complete with a primary suite, office, fitness room, and kitchen.

It was inside that kitchen that the boxing champion filmed commercials promoting his namesake grill, the kitchen appliance that helped turn him into a household name beyond the world of sports.

The room still features a personalized touch: an island bearing Foreman’s initials, “G.F.”

Elsewhere, the home includes a second primary suite, additional bedrooms, and generous living areas designed to accommodate the large Foreman family.

The estate’s impressive amenities extend well beyond the main residence.

One of its most striking features is an approximately 11,000-square-foot, air-conditioned collector’s garage, which once housed dozens of Foreman’s prized vehicles.

The former heavyweight champion was an avid automobile enthusiast, and the garage offers enough room for a collection of more than 50 cars.

According to the listing, the enormous space could also be repurposed into a boxing gym, basketball court, or another recreational facility, providing a future owner with an opportunity to customize the property.

The mansion is equipped with a whole-home generator, private well, and septic system.

The 13.49-acre offering represents only part of Foreman’s larger property, which encompasses approximately 28 acres.

An additional 14.79 acres are available for purchase separately. This acreage includes recreational amenities such as a tennis court, basketball court, and fishing pond, according to reports about the estate.

The residence also holds decades of memories for Foreman’s family, who moved to the property after outgrowing their previous home in Kingwood, TX.

Foreman and his wife, Mary Joan Martelly, designed the Huffman residence to accommodate their growing family and his expanding collection of automobiles.

The property became a gathering place for relatives, with one of their daughters holding her wedding reception in the central atrium.

The champion appeared on TV throughout his career, including the NBC reality travel series “Better Late Than Never,” alongside fellow stars William Shatner, Henry Winkler, and Terry Bradshaw.

Foreman rose to fame after winning a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics before becoming heavyweight champion in 1973.

He famously reclaimed the heavyweight title in 1994 at age 45, becoming the oldest boxer to win a world heavyweight championship.

Outside the ring, he enjoyed enormous commercial success through his George Foreman Grill, which introduced him to an entirely new generation of fans.

Now, the sprawling property that served as his longtime family home is preparing for its next chapter, with a $6 million asking price and the possibility of nearly doubling its acreage.

For buyers, the estate offers a combination of expansive living quarters, recreational possibilities, and a connection to one of boxing’s most recognizable figures.

The sprawling Texas estate where boxing legend George Foreman spent the final decades of his life has hit…

[6
38382,106900,56505,108219,111214,27,29,28,2459
post-464564","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-texas","tag-celebrity-homes","tag-daily-email","tag-houston-tx","tag-professional-athlete-homes","tag-slot-05","tag-texas","tag-texas-headlines","tag-texas-news","tag-video
["GET
