The time has come for those of us who have been waiting for the Casa Linda Plaza location of maman<\/a> (lowercased on purpose) to open.\u00a0<\/p>\n The French-inspired, New York City-based caf\u00e9 and bakery is set to open with an 8 a.m. ribbon cutting Thursday, Oct. 15 at 1152 N. Buckner Blvd., Suite 124. The first 100 customers are expected to receive a tote and chocolate chip cookie, according to a press release. Opening day will also feature pop-ups from Charmed Haven from 10 a.m. to noon, which is offering croissant charms to the first 50 customers with $20 purchases, and Yarn & Co. from 1-3 p.m.<\/p>\n We reported<\/a> on this new location in February. Less than a month later, we received word that there would be another East Dallas location in Lakewood<\/a>, and that opened in April<\/a>. In all, the Casa Linda shop is maman\u2019s fourth in the Dallas area so far.<\/p>\n \u201cCasa Linda is such a vibrant community in Dallas, and we\u2019re thrilled for maman to join the neighborhood,\u201d co-founder Elisa Marshall said in a press release. \u201cDallas has welcomed us since we opened our doors in 2024. We can\u2019t wait to bring our pastries and coffee and hope to become our neighbors\u2019 home away from home.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n The menu features pastries, salads, sandwiches, espresso, tea and seasonal drinks. Here are some of the Dallas-exclusive and autumn offerings, according to the press release:\u00a0<\/p>\n Magnolia Sweet Tea Fizz: a cold-steeped magnolia bud tea made with Topo Chico, sweetened with local Texas wildflower honey syrup and served with a lemon wedge and fresh mint.\u00a0 maman is also known for its decor, the \u201csignature South of France provincial aesthetic,\u201d and the Casa Linda location will be no different. The store is 2,366 square feet and can seat 50 people. There is also an outdoor patio for 12.<\/p>\n \u201cThe thoughtfully designed space features vintage-inspired furnishings, warm wood tones, maman\u2019s iconic blue toile details, custom toile-printed espresso machines and will be complemented by custom floral installations from Floratorium, inspired by the Texas bluebonnet,\u201d according to the press release. \u201cCasa Linda\u2019s maman can\u2019t be missed, as the exterior facade is covered by a gorgeous floral mural painted by Joel Haynes Art. Designed for both everyday visits and special occasions, maman Casa Linda will offer an inviting setting for guests to gather, as well as catering services.\u201d<\/p>\n The caf\u00e9 is expected to be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
