Richardson residents can cast their midterm election ballots during early voting<\/a> from Oct. 19-30.<\/p>\n

Registered voters can visit any polling location in their county during the early voting period. The Nov. 3 midterm election<\/a> covers federal, state and local races, from the U.S. Senate and Texas governor to local bonds.<\/p>\n

What you need to know<\/p>\n

Dallas County residents can vote at any early voting location<\/a> in the county. The Richardson polling locations are:<\/p>\n

Arzell Ball Center: 410 S. Greenville Ave., Richardson<\/p>\n

Islamic Association of North Texas: 840 Abrams Rd, Richardson<\/p>\n

Ministerios Charisma: 740 Melrose Drive, Richardson<\/p>\n

All Dallas County early voting locations are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. every day, with the exception of Sunday, Oct. 25, when the polls will be open 12-6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Collin County residents can also vote at any early voting location<\/a> in the county. There are no early voting locations within Richardson, but nearby polling locations include:<\/p>\n

Renner Frankford Branch Library: 6400 Frankford Road, Dallas<\/p>\n

Liberty Recreation Center: 2601 Glencliff Drive, Plano<\/p>\n

Harrington Library: 1501 18th Street, Plano<\/p>\n

Collin County early voting hours vary by day:<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on the ballot<\/p>\n

Federal, state and local races will appear on the midterm ballot, including U.S. Senate<\/a> and Texas governor<\/a>, lieutenant governor<\/a> and attorney general<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All 38 U.S. House seats are up for election, including the races for the District 24<\/a> and District 32<\/a> seats, which both cover parts of Richardson.<\/p>\n

The election for U.S. House District 24 features Republican incumbent Beth Van Duyne and Democratic challenger Kevin Burge. Democratic candidate Dan Barrios will face Republican candidate Jace Yarbrough in the race for the U.S. House District 32 seat.<\/p>\n

All 150 state House seats are also up for election, including Texas House District 112<\/a> and District 70<\/a>, which both cover parts of Richardson.<\/p>\n

Dallas County voters are set to vote on a proposed tax increase<\/a> that would address homelessness.<\/p>\n

Collin County voters will see two bonds on the ballot. A proposed $817.5 million county bond<\/a> would fund the county\u2019s jail and courthouse, roads, parks and a new elections facility. A $600 million Collin College bond proposition<\/a> would expand eight campuses and build two new ones.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next<\/p>\n

Individuals who qualify to vote by mail must apply for their ballot<\/a> by Oct. 23.<\/p>\n

All polling locations will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3.
