Young, who co-owns IOTA Modern Vintage with her soon-to-be daughter-in-law Taryn Tompkins, tells PaperCity that she loves the hunt for distinctive clothing, whether it’s decades old, lightly worn, or never worn at all.

Young developed her eye for unique fashions while thrift shopping with her mother as a child, learning that every dollar travels further when shopping for used clothing. She opened IOTA on her 60th birthday, bringing her lifelong love of finding unusual clothing to Fort Worth shoppers. Her boutique offers an eclectic mix of clothing, boots, belts, and accessories.

Ahead of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Young plans to transform the entire boutique into a Western fashion destination for six weeks.
