Instagram\/jessicaleeduarte<\/p>\n<p>Police had responded to a 911 call about a \u201cmale subject with a knife acting erratically,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuarte was exhibiting erratic behavior and making threats to kill everyone,\u201d said a statement from the Medina County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter multiple verbal commands were given for M Duarte to get on the ground by the Deputy \u2026 M Duarte charged toward the Deputy while yelling, \u2018I\u2019m going to kill you.\u2019 The Deputy discharged two rounds from her duty weapon, striking M Duarte,\u201d police added.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.72851563;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37647234\" width=\"430\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/now-details-horrible-incident-leading-115275662.jpg\" alt=\"Food influencer Michael Duarte with a woman on a boardwalk with sand and palm trees in the background.\" class=\"wp-image-37647234\"  \/>Duarte, 36, was killed by two gunshots from a Medina County sheriff\u2019s deputy in Castroville.
