{"id":468014,"date":"2026-10-16T17:24:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T17:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/468014\/"},"modified":"2026-10-16T17:24:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T17:24:08","slug":"miranda-lambert-exhibit-coming-to-fort-worths-national-cowgirl-museum-entertainment-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/468014\/","title":{"rendered":"Miranda Lambert exhibit coming to Fort Worth\u2019s National Cowgirl Museum | Entertainment News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 One of country music\u2019s biggest stars is getting an exhibit at a Fort Worth museum.<\/p>\n<p>The National Cowgirl Museum &amp; Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that \u201cMiranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo\u201d will be the inaugural exhibition at its new Icons Gallery, which opens Nov. 7. The gallery is part of the museum\u2019s new 16,000-square-foot expansion; the venue will shut its doors Oct. 19 to prepare for the reopening.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert worked with the museum on the exhibit, which features the one-of-a-kind wardrobe she wore during her \u201cVelvet Rodeo\u201d residency in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first visited the National Cowgirl Museum, I was so inspired by all of the amazing Western pieces on display that I sent a bunch of photos to my stylist, Tiffany. We mixed that inspiration with the heyday of Elvis to create the \u2018Velvet Rodeo\u2019 wardrobe,\u201d Lambert said in a press release. \u201cSeeing these pieces now have a life beyond the stage as part of the museum\u2019s new Icons Gallery feels really full circle and special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lambert was inducted into the <a href=\"https:\/\/thecowgirl.org\/hall-of-fame\/miranda-lambert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 2021<\/a> for her contribution to country music.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiranda\u2019s confidence, determination and independence make her a wonderful representative of the women we honor,\u201d museum executive director Pat Riley said in a press release. \u201cOpening our Icons Gallery with this collaboration celebrates her accomplishments while giving visitors a new way to connect with a cowgirl they know and admire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The museum points out that Lambert\u2019s \u201cVelvet Rodeo\u201d wardrobe was mainly seen in motion and under stage lights during the residency.
