Giovanni Scelzi slid past Rico Abreu in traffic and led the final eight laps to win Friday\u2019s 25-lap feature from seventh, opening Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing\u2019s All-In Championship Weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Scelzi shaved nine points off Abreu\u2019s championship lead and trails by 36 entering Saturday\u2019s season finale. Abreu can clinch the title with a finish of 16th or better, holding the tiebreaker should they finish tied.<\/p>\n
Tyler Courtney rebounded from mechanical trouble earlier in the night to charge from 11th to second ahead of Abreu, who led laps 13-17 after overtaking polesitter Tanner Holmes. Holmes led the opening 12 laps before fading to eighth.<\/p>\n
