Based on Thursday night’s availability updates.

Florida

Aaron Philo, QB: Questionable with a shoulder injury.Vernell Brown III, WR: Questionable with a knee injury.Bailey Stockton, WR: Questionable.Duke Clark, RB: Out.

1. Who takes the snaps for Florida?

Philo’s shoulder injury adds another complication to an already difficult road trip. Tramell Jones Jr. took significant practice reps this week and would make his first college start if Philo cannot play. Whoever gets the call will need help from the offensive line and running game.

2. Can Florida get Jadan Baugh going again?

Baugh rushed for 600 yards during Florida’s 4-0 start. Over the past two games, he has managed just 72 yards on 27 carries. The offensive line hasn’t given him much daylight.

3. Can the defense make Arch Manning uncomfortable?

Manning threw two interceptions last week against Oklahoma and has shown that he is prone to imploding. Last year, Florida stopped Manning; can they do it again?

Offensive players to watch in Florida vs. Texas

Florida Gators

Aaron Philo / Tramell Jones Jr., QB: Philo is considered a game-time decision. If he can’t go, Jones will get his first career start.Jadan Baugh, RB: The hype train on Baugh has slowed down the last two weeks, but he also hasn’t had much help.Dallas Wilson, WR: Florida’s leading receiver enters with 26 catches for 376 yards and three touchdowns. Wilson popped off against Texas last year. Does he have an encore in him?

Texas Longhorns

Arch Manning, QB: Florida contained the former five-star QB last year, but questions about Florida’s defense this year make it tough to trustCam Coleman, WR: He enters with 318 receiving yards and five touchdown catches.Hollywood Smothers, RB: Texas’ leading rusher has 237 yards and two rushing touchdowns.Defensive players to watch in Florida vs. Texas

Florida Gators

Myles Graham, LB: Graham leads Florida with 41 tackles, but he hasn’t felt like the same explosive player we saw last year. Jayden Woods, EDGE: Woods enters with 4.5 sacks and six tackles for loss, but just half of a sack in his last two games.

Texas Longhorns

Colin Simmons, EDGE: Simmons leads the nation with 9.5 sacks. The future top-ten NFL draft pick will be a wrecking ball today if Florida doesn’t come up with answers.Justus Terry, DL: Listed as probable, Terry is another defender to monitor up front. He has been out most of the year, but if he plays today he too can wreck havoc on Florida’s offensive line.""Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

Two weeks ago, Florida was unbeaten and riding high after beating Ole Miss.
