{"id":469983,"date":"2026-10-18T21:12:13","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T21:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/469983\/"},"modified":"2026-10-18T21:12:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T21:12:13","slug":"major-south-side-rollover-crash-reported-on-ih-35-south-near-somerset-road-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/469983\/","title":{"rendered":"Major South Side rollover crash reported on IH-35 South near Somerset Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A major rollover crash left a man seriously injured when a speeding car slammed into the back of his commercial vehicle, causing it to overturn and crash into a nearby business.<\/p>\n<p>The crash was reported around 9:32 p.m. Saturday, in the southbound lanes of the 8500 block of IH-35 South.<\/p>\n<p>According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the commercial vehicle driver was traveling southbound when a high-speed 2019 Dodge Challenger hit his vehicle from behind.<\/p>\n<p>The impact caused the commercial vehicle to overturn, leave the highway, and crash into a private business.
